The market for actual Aulani owners is much smaller than Disney anticipated.
The 4for3 offer has been extended yet again, as a result of their continuing challenges to sell to the resort, whether declared inventory to potential owners or cash direct guests.
Personally, wouldn't pay out for Aulani. If you want disney experience, go to Disneyworld, if you want Hawaii, beaches and watersports, pool (or wet and wild 15 min away) and tropics Ko Alina (if you want to be in that part of Oahu or visit Aulani). In my experience Disney has tried to match value with the high cost at their parks, but this doesn't cut it. (Unless money is no object, in which case, sure, absolutely). Not surprised that they are struggling.
