I've hardly had an issue with noise when sitting in 23 ef - there is hardly anything that filters above the hum of the engines. Besides the smaller mini cabin at the back has a much more private feel than the main sitting area. And you are much closer to the bar and the galley at the back in case you need something or need to go use the lavs.
