If you are considering the Lindrum, make sure you ask for a room that does not face onto the multi-storey car park next door to the hotel. Apart from the fact that it's not much of an outlook, the car park lights, and lights in the adjacent laneway, are left on all night and I found it really disturbed my sleep (it bleeds around the edges of the blinds).
