Think it depends whether the OP will be taking advantage of the bar - as service is prepared in the rear galley, it will be relatively easy to pop back from the bar to his seat when his tray is ready to be served. As it's a honeymoon trip, I don't think the OP and his wife will be sitting bored in their seats waiting for food service and grumbling that other people are being served first!
Do agree with you that there is more through traffic and on the whole noisier though. Would note that the noise cancelling headsets and ICE are a good filter for noise though, and on a day flight, I don't think noise is much of a problem - especially upper deck on an A380 being quiet compared to BA J!
