I'll be traveling to Ireland in March. I have applied the Gold Family CDP code to attempt to remove the Young Driver Surcharge. The code worked upon booking, but I was told that because the Hertz location I am using will be a licensee, that I will not be able to waive the Young Driver Surcharge. Does anyone have any insight into this? For what it's worth, I'm a 23 year old American who has had his full license since age 16.
