my wife and her family in Mexico love this place and never pass on any excuse to take me to the very nice Villa Maria in Polanco. This place is known for their margaritas. I have had several of their fish dishes and never been disappointed.

near the Zocalo in Mexico City is the "Blue Tile House" (Casa de los Azulejos) - very famous and definitely worth seeing. Eat inside at The Sanborns restuarant there. Yes, its a chain restaurant, but a very popular, good quality chain that is made up for with the special location. can t go wrong there.

each time we go to/through Puebla they have taken me to a different restaurant on the zocalo - all have been nice and "vengence free". but I also havent had any fish there.
