there seem to be a number of michelin starred restaurants quite near ITM. we would like to go to Ichijunisai Ueno Toyonaka(1*) the night we arrive, and we hope to eat in kashiwaya(3*)the night before return. both are within 2 or 3 km from the east end of the runway. in between, we will be 12 nights in kyoto. we have gotten very old, and do not bounce around the country when on vacation.
