Yes, Gold benefits all round. I rarely fly BA on paid tickets and when I do they are in Y, but my British Midland gold card, which became a BA gold card on the take-over, gives me access to the F lounge and a good draught of bubbles!

May need to consider flight pattern when I drop to silver and thence to bronze. Perhaps Tesco will have Boost on tier points; live in hope.
