As far as I know, I had the basic card which - earned 1.5 miles per £1 spend - though, as we know, this is now earning 2.5 per £1 spend.
My January 2014 statement includes a £60 fee; looking at the January 2013 statement there is no fee.
Have I missed an announcement regarding the introduction of this ?

Thanks for the input - the card is the Diamond Club Platinum Mastercard - but, thinking about it, this is probably the first year since it was rebranded from the original bmi card, which is what I signed up to.
Maybe the charge has now been introduced ? if it was never originally charged (which as said previously, I can not see any charge on my previous statements) on the card I signed up for, do I have a case that it shouldn't be charged now ?
Dunno, guess I'll have to give them a call ......
