At around 6'1"/183cm, the legrest in the first row of PEY doesn't do anything for me. I sat in that row once, and never again. It seems not to be designed for people that tall. Also, we keep seeing complaints about the fold-up IFE screens not working properly.

I generally like 32G or 33G, although I bet this will be a controversial choice. My thinking is:

-- I'm on the same side as the lav, so no need to cross in front of row 30.
-- I'm far enough back that the forward-facing entrance to the lav isn't an annoyance.
-- I'm far enough forward to be less bothered by noise from EY.
-- The middle seats are likely to be assigned last, so as a solo traveler a slightly greater chance of an empty seat next to me.
