I would like to make a stopover in France for 3 days. since I am a skymiles member, I'd like to get the miles if possible.

I want to spend Feb 28-Mar 3 in Nice. Open to flying to AMS/CDG and then AMS/CDG to BOM and finally BOM-ATL. Dates:

ATL-AMS/CDG: Feb 27th
AMS/CDG-BOM: Mar 3
BOM-ATL: Mar 10

Then I also need to get to and from NCE.

What is my best option with these dates? This will be a cash ticket since I don't have enough miles. Open to other airports than CDG/AMS as well if it makes sense.

The best combination I've seen for these dates is ATL-CDG, AMS-BOM, BOM-ATL for $1380 odd, and another $300 to get to NCE and back.
