This would get extra-silly for int'l flights with hundreds of pax. Would need to do Groups 1-3 and then another minimum 3 groups for general pax, by row number to avoid severe clogging.
Most flights I don't see an issue with priority boarding. Wouldn't someone rather wait in the priority line 60 seconds than stand off to the side for 60 seconds until group 2 is called?
Try boarding a UA flight at the end of group 2, if you're in E+. The E+ bins are
full, and the ones further back are completely empty.
There's definitely a benefit to being able to board before the priority lice
