I've had some that require you to subscribe to emails in order to enter, but when you get the first email you just click on the unsubscribe at the bottom. Not all of them do the uncheck part on the entry form, although obviously we prefer those.
I (finally!) got around to setting up a separate email just for sweeps entries for 2 reasons: easier than my main one to check for winning notices & easier to see emails where I had to subscribe to enter & can then unsubscribe right away.
No worries on noting that the Purewow sweeps require you to subscribe; lets other FTers know (and PW does take you off the list right away if you click unsubscribe with the first email).
