I was lucky enough to be op-upped to F at check-in on the daytime BOS-LHR late last year.

I was not permitted F dining breakfast in the lounge before the flight.

Fair enough, I thought, and merely nibbled on the mini bagels on offer in the main lounge - expecting a nice brunch on board.

There were 11 of us in F (NF)

I was told politely that I would have to make do with two starters, and I didn't even get a choice of which one of those I wanted. No chance of the CW menu either.

Oh how I envied (a bit) the lucky person who got my 62A and a decent meal !
