Question: Was the travel insurance purchased as part of the CX Holidays package? The insurance benefits mention repatriation in certain cases (such as for hospitalization), but it doesn't say either way whether all parties on the reservation need to be repatriated, or whether only the injured party.
Example: Suppose there are 8 people on one booking. If a day into a month-long trip, one person gets sick and is authorized to return home under the terms of the travel insurance, must all 8 travelers return home, or just the one sick person?
My point being, it would be unfortunate if everyone had to return home just because one person needed to. Your case is analogous, only the numbers are different (with 2 of 3 people being repatriated, and 1 person staying behind).
If the repatriation of H & W is done in accordance with the terms of the travel insurance purchased as part of the package, then I'm hoping that CX Holidays would change the booking accordingly so that the remaining passenger (friend A) remains on the booking.
