Group ticket but one party has to shorten travel plans - options?
My friend is in this situation:

4 people, (H)usband & (W)ife and a friend (A), travel to CTS for skiing in holiday package on CX flight. My friend (B) redeemed a CX tkt & joined them just paid only the hotel.

Accident happened yesterday, (W) broke her leg & travel insurance agent came to Sapporo for taking care W & H & bring them both back to HK and A wants to stay till the end of the original plan. But the travel agent told them, 3 of them must travel together or being denied boarding.

A one-way tkt CTS-HKG costs HK$18,000.

Any advice for A?
