Been reading this thread from beginning to end. Thanks to Eastbay for starting it.
I have a transit at LIM. International inbound (LAN) scheduled to arrive at about 11:00PM. Then I connect to TAM for CUZ at 5:30AM (next day).
I have couple of questions.
What to anticipate in terms of immigration (crowded or not)?
How much time from International Terminal to Domestic? Long walk?

There can be lines upon arrival in LIM for immigration. However, it is usually pretty quick.
What may take a long time is collecting your bags. Usually, after clearing immigration (even with some wait there), I find that the bags have not even started coming out when I get to the carrousel. Priority tags are good for nothing in LIM. When I check bags, they always come out last
After collecting your bags you go throuh customs. You press a button and you get either green or red. Red means bags screening. It usually does not take much time.
Note: Immigration is really bad/slow for outbound flights (when leaving LIM on intl flight), especially during the late evening.
