Schedule change results in seat map pointing to wrong (?) flight
Have a very strange situation going on right now.
Was rebooked on a connecting flight from PHX-->CLT-->BDL US 461/2788 after a schedule change. First leg leaves at 1:20am. Reservation lookup on USairways.com shows both legs on the correct & same date. Accessing seat maps through the "manage reservations" function shows all seats assigned properly.
However, when I do a dummy booking on the same flight pair (yes, I looked them up on the day prior because they leave after midnight) when I use the "view seats" button on the booking screen it does not match the one that is in my reservation. However, if I look up the same flight a day later, it appears to be the correct seat map.
A phone agent confirms everything in the reservation is correct including the seating assignments. I don't want to show up at the airport at midnight only to find out that the flight I am booked on leaves 24 hours later. Should I be concerned? Can anyone explain this anomaly based on past experience?
