If you are wondering why there are two Choice hotels at Rock Hill, it's because the QI was frightening enough that I checked in for a 5 night stay and checked out after 1. It's a property in SERIOUS need of a makeover in almost everything, including staff. There was an Econo Lodge across the street from this QI and word on the street (my coworkers) say it's a dump as well.
I can confirm the Econo Lodge (Rock Hill, SC) is a dump - guessing weekly renters, meth cookers, etc. Checked in, went up to room, chain lock not secure, door to bath had been replaced with a residential looking one - just downright scary. Left and went to the Wyndham. Sad part was I complained to Choice, they forwarded my comments to owner who basically "thanked me" for letting them know! Like you didn't already know this????
