JL tried to offer morning and late night flights and I guess late night one wasn't working well. NH also to offer similar options: early morning from HND or early afternoon from NRT. JL is doing this partly due to aircraft utilization - the one arriving from JFK at 12:35 will be used for CDG for sure.
