With all of the devaluations and other assorted "nickel and dime" changes, chances are I wouldn't be choosing DL if I was starting from scratch and evaluating all the domestic carriers. DL certainly hasn't done anything in the last year to deservedly retain my business... I've had more MX issues, routing hassles, and overall clusterf*ckery dealing with DL in the last 12-18 months than I've had combined in my life prior to that window. Aside from their front line employees, who (for the most part) seem to be above average for the industry, DL's value proposition for me has severely declined.

However, flying out of DTW and already having status with DL, I'm going to stick with them and piss and moan, but make no changes in my travel arrangements, just like everyone else on this board. I've accepted that. Who wants to meet me at the Skyclub for a drink to drown our sorrows? I'll guest you insi-- Wait, nope. Can't do that, either.
