I completely understand what you are saying. In my reading, it seems most people getting shutdown are the ones that do the complex sends. I haven't really read too much in this thread about people that do simple A>B each month and get shutdown. So I agree that the data point would help.
I really believe that it is all over the board. And most likely if someone is doing something successful, they are least likely to share due to their success. We've seen people get shutdown for doing complex transactions in regards to amounts sent/people involved to those doing $1k back in forth for months with multiple accounts.
Just do what you feel comfortable and reap the benefits! When you fail, accept it and move on to another form. There are many!
