My earlier hotel-specific points are clearly invalid if I've got the wrong Tokoriki property, and should be viewed through that filter. I've flirted with editing my earlier post, but that would make the later replies seem strange.

The more general points remain valid. At present you can get the following other Starwood Pacific properties at the following prices:

Le Meridien Ile des Pins $300 per night
Le Meridien Bora Bora overwater bungalow $500 per night
St Regis Bora Bora overwater bungalow $750 per night

I would want a substantially more affordable rate in order to choose any location in Fiji over those three properties.

Lastly, I apologise to the property for confusing it with its more upmarket (but pricey) neighbour.
