I think it's pretty safe to say that since there are only four frequencies per day (Two new-AA, two Alaska) on the DCA-LAX route, in GENERAL, flying from Dulles is going to be cheaper than from National. I didn't say it'd ALWAYS be more.

Same goes for DCA-SFO, which has a grand total of one service per day from both UA and VX.
