Does anyone know what sort of concession on non-refundable tickets I might expect to see from Jet given these circumstances?
IME, if the flights are going on as usual with decent traffic, they will not give any concession but YMMV..
Heck, I was looking for some hotels for some folks coming in this weekend and prices dont seem to have cooled at all

While there is a state of emergency declared yesterday and before this a Bangkok "shutdown" for the last 9 days, but local bkk residents have not faced a lot of problems till date from what I hear.. In my case, my office has been open on all days with usual attendance, my children's school is going on as usual and my wife goes around regularly..
Precaution we need to take is from going around the main Bangkok city center ( Victory monument, Siam Square, Pratunam, Asok areas ) and I feel we should be fine ( Amen) .. Some roads are ofcourse blocked, so public transport is a preferred / recommended option ..

I had relatives come in Dec end and they went to Pattaya and around Bangkok and it was fine..
Have other friends coming over this Friday for a 1 week trip to Bangkok and Krabi and will update post that..
