I imagine if they went to correct it, they would just take back the miles and call it a day.

So error or not, I just don't want them to take back the miles and not reinstate that segment that I had booked.

Otherwise I spent a lot of money to cancel nothing and that'd be a bit unfair given the information they provided over the phone.
