8 days in Italy (Rome to Venice)
Hi,
My hubby and me are planning a trip to Italy in Feb. we did some research and planned the following trip. It'll be great if you guys can give suggestions as we have only 8 days including Valentine's day and I'm sure there is too much to see.

Day 1 to 3 in Rome
Day 3 to 5 - We want to take a train to Florence and rent a car there for 2 days to see Siena/Tuscany/Chianti..
Day 5- Valentine's Day - we are still debating if we should spend in Verona or take a train to Switzerland and spend the night and the following day there? Any suggestions ?
Day 7 and 8 - We are planning to take a train to Venice and spend our last 2 days there..

Any suggestions for taking trains and renting a car would be great too..
