I actually ended up using them in December for a hotel in Bangkok. Got my bonus miles, hotel miles and new member miles. Didn't take long to post either. Doubtful I'll use them again as their bonuses seem to only be for new members and that is the only time it pays to use them. But definitely was a good deal the first time (when the bonus was in play).
