What are the odds of getting upgraded at this property as a Marriott Gold member?

I'd be looking to upgrade from the deluxe ocean view room ~ 500 $/night to something fancier like a jr suite.

Alternatively, I would be REALLY happy to get an upgrade to the package that includes a free buffet breakfast for 2. The breakfast was really good last time I was there but it was pricey. We ran out of our food budget 3-4 days early in part because of the spectacular breakfasts and had to switch to buying snacks at a nearby convenience store.
