Final report, which I didn't want to make from the air for fear of jinxing it ;-)

I was able to fairly successfully stream most of the second half of the game via the iHeartRadio app. It still requires location services, which don't work in the air, but it lets you enter a zip code as a fallback.

The ESPN Mobile gamecast (running from my laptop) also worked pretty well, though the gamecast and the radio were usually not in sync.

Hopefully this can help somebody if they're flying during the Superbowl.
