There were a lot of problems with these devices the first few months after release. But it looks like the company that makes the chipsets & some of the device manufacturers have been pretty active in resolving those.

I've heard good reports about the Netgear & Actiontec devices with a variety of Windows devices. Both have released multiple firmware updates for it. Netgear has a crap track record when it comes to any sort of long term support for their products though. Actiontec is an unknown to me. A vendor on ebay was selling refurb'd units, but blew through stock pretty quickly when they dropped to $40 each.

C2G just released a device. I thought I saw a SIIG device too, but can't seem to find it now. It also had an MSRP of around $90.

I bought the Rocketfish miracast device with my Dell Venue 8 Pro, and it's worked great (think it was $20 on sale too). Sadly, looks like Best Buy has already discontinued it.
This is a new Belkin model, it was literally released a few weeks ago. So far reviews seem mostly positive.
