Stayed here over the weekend for a quick trip with the wife and really liked the hotel. Will be my go to in Portland from now on (I like the HGI as well because of the location). We went up to top of the east right when they opened on Saturday night and enjoyed a couple drinks before dinner. I liked it but it was difficult to enjoy the view as it was snowing so you couldn't see too much. In talking with the bartender he said they were going to open an a patio up there over the summer which should be great.

We ate at C-squared for breakfast and it was really good. Service was great all around and had no complaints. They did a great job updating the old Eastland hotel. The only downside I would have is that it's a bit of a walk to a lot of the bars and nightlife but in the summer it wouldn't be a big deal.
