I've just purchased a Rimowa Cabin Topaz Stealth (56x45x25). Now that I've got it in my hands, it just seems a bit big for taking onboard - could be physiological with it being black aluminium.

I mainly fly with BA , and know that this fits in their hand baggage rules, but on the odd chance I have to take a different carrier its making me slightly nervous! Does anybody have one, and if so, does it fit comfortably (wheels to the back) in BA's overhead lockers? Any issues experienced with BA ?

I'm not so worried about other European carriers (except maybe Finnair), and on the occasions where I need to take connecting flights in Asia/India, I would obviously choose to take a different bag.

One final question, it is difficult to see without looking physically at the alternative which is the IATA (55x40x20) case, how much you can actually get in the case. Ideally I'd want to take a suit, alternative shoes/trainers and a few shirts. I currently use a Montblanc Nightflight trolley which is 56x38x22.
