There is a difference though between valid complaints about experiences which are valid and extrapolating beyond that to arrive at sweeping conclusions like "BA F is crap and not up to the standards of J on other carriers".

Anyone who has a bad experience can recount their experience warts and all and point out the flaws but to arrive at meaningful conclusions about the typical service you need multiple data points.

It is always tempting though to take single point experiences as more representative than they truly are, we all do this it is human nature because one thing that impacts us individually is more relevant than 10 experiences other people have.

I sometimes have bad experiences with BA too, I just have many more good/acceptable BA experiences than bad ones.

The more experiences you have the more you can avoid the obvious service flashpoints too (so for instance I never order beef except as a last resort). Isn't insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results?
