That makes sense, but the tenses used by the OP suggested that he is now trying to change the inbound flight online, and that is what's being quoted for the change (perhaps £60 change fee plus £70 fare difference per passenger). But that wouldn't be consistent with a non-changeable R class inbound, which is why I'm confused about what sort of ticket/fare he's actually got.
