Yes, many times actually. But only if its booked on DL and being flown by KL inter-Europe/UK. I have even made it happen on a KL flight booked on DL ticket (FCO-AMS) and checked in by Alitalia. The trick is the "0" in front of my old number while checking in at the Sky Priority line and it prints out every time on the boarding pass.
How many digits are in your mileage plan number?
It would be helpful to know from Mileage Plan if some partner airlines need zeros in front of the AS number in order to be recognized by their systems. I've seen discussions about this before but no definitive answers.
