Seems doable. Allow 1hr to get to your terminal from the Radisson via LIRR, or 1hr30m from the Hilton via A train. JFK shouldn't be too crowded on a Monday evening. On a Sunday night you might also find good hotel deals on Hotwire or other distressed-inventory websites.
