I am not sure if its just coincidence but when I sit in the front 3-4 rows the WiFi speed is abysmal. When I am in the exit row in the middle of the aircraft, I get fantastic speeds and able to stream movies from Amazon with no hiccups. Has anyone had similar experiences ? Overall the feeling I get is while more and more aircraft are WiFi equipped, the overall speed is going down. Could be that more passengers are using it ?
