This is my second try at trying to get AA to honor my lifetime club membership. Having turn me down before they lost a good deal of my travel budget by refusing to fly them.

Over a quarter centur ago when I was regulary spending $40k a year on travel I toured most of the clubs in ORD to decide what one I would join. I turned down the AC club in favour of TWA when I noticed the sloppy mess of dirty dishes, and newspapers and no refills available on any food. I bought a lifetime TWA club instead with the Piedmont option for $100 more. When TWA got picked up by AA I was denied lifetime in their club so bye-bye AA in my travels. When Piedmont got picked up by USAIR I got lifetime in the USAIR club and now here I am back to wondering about AA again.
I purchased my America West Lifetime Club membership in 1994 when America West was in financial trouble. It was my way to support a hometown (PHX) airline.
