If you are only interested in your credit score, you should probably set up a free account at both Credit Karma and Credit Sesame. Credit Karma pulls data from Transunion, and Credit Sesame pulls data from Experian. They each give you a rough approximation of your FICO score.
Neither one does "hard" pulls and should not affect your credit in any way.
The links in the original post will get you copies of your entire credit report, but those don't include your FICO score. Just a report of all your various accounts, personal information, etc.
Everyone should probably look at their full credit reports every few years to check for inaccurate information. I just pulled my reports for the first time in years and discovered a completely random company that I've never done business with reported a bad debt on my file. So now i am starting investigations to find out if it is identity theft or merely a mistake.
But yeah if all you want is your score, go with CS+CK. If you have any Barclay credit cards you can also get your score from them if you opt-in. Log in to your Barclay account and look for the credit score promo or ring them up.
