Not sure if this is more appropriate for Budget European Airlines but couldn't see any other Vueling threads ...

I'm planning a short trip from Nice (NCE) to Barcelona (BCN) and only have a choice of Easy Jet or Vueling for direct routings.

I'm also a nervous/anxious flyer and Google'd Vueling to find literally dozens and dozens of poor reviews, I also searched avherald to find they've had 20+ incidents mostly maintenance related (specifically hydraulic problems) over the past 2 years.

Am I being melodramatic or is this LCC not servicing their fleet appropriately?
