I first tried some cheap Chinese generic Miracast dongle. It had all the right specs but turned out to be basically junk. $30 lesson learned. It connected fine but would drop the picture every couple of minutes. No amount of tweaking ever got it to work right.

I next got a Netgear Push2TV PTV3000. It was about $60 IIRC. That one worked great strait out of the box. Plug and play. My only complaint would be a very slight lag which is insignificant except when you are using a mouse which throws you off a little. That may just be inherent to all Miracast devices, I'm not sure. Other than that, it just does what it's supposed to do so I'm happy.

My only "100% for sure" advice would be to buy one at a local big box store where you can walk right in and return/exchange it in 2 minutes, no questions ask, rather than on-line because I suspect the manufactures are still settling in a little on interoperability and it's a product where you are a little more likely to encounter hassles where you don't want to mail packages back and forth if you need to change.
