No fee charged for a cancelled redemption (SCH)?
I thought that all redemption cancellations incur a fee (apart from for Golds), but I might have been wrong. I just cancelled a redemption booking and was not charged any fee whatsoever (booked as a silver, cancelled as a silver) - got the full cash value back along with the miles. Is this some kind of a glitch or a new canx policy? (the other explanation I have is that, as today is my birthday, BA might have wanted to make me happy, but I'm doubtful that this is really it).
