Downtown Lincoln has shops, restaurants and galleries concentrated in two neighborhoods. I was unexpectedly surprised on a three day business trip a few months ago.

Avoid the Cornhusker Marriott in Lincoln. It's an overpriced outdated dump, despite the renovation, that's located away from everything. The newer CY, if you are a Marriott person, is in a much better location.
