I thought there must be an existing thread or twenty about this, but after much searching I can't find any.

Does anyone know the standards for mattresses at Hilton properties?

A few years ago there was a big push to standardize and upgrade mattresses in the industry, which was very welcome, IMHO. More and more, properties had mattresses that were thick, firm, and comfortable. Last couple of years it seems there has been considerable back-sliding, with more hotels having too-soft and downright broken mattresses.

(At one point, I'd found a corporate document outlining the various standards and options for properties regarding bedding, but I'm not sure where it is.)
