I stayed here for 4 nights in June 2012. The location is convenient (by car) to downtown Doha and your room will have a nice city or bay view. The rooms are luxuriously appointed in typical four seasons style with very large bathrooms. I always like the separate areas for the shower stall and toilet. The pool area is expansive and nicely done - very much
resort quality though not as big as you would find in Hawaii or Mexico (not as many tourists baking in 120degree heat). The gym is one of the best anywhere - you won't have to wait for an exercise machine or the weight equipment.

The staff is uniformly friendly and helpful. However I subtract one star for the overpriced restaurants and somewhat limited menus. This is exacerbated by the location as there is nothing else within walking distance (which is a problem in the summer!) Also the bar (and pool) need nonsmoking areas. And finally there is quite a bit of airplane noise as they fly over the city to the nearby airport. But overall this is an excellent property - you can't really go wrong here. We took the FS car back to the airport when our Emirates limo failed to show. But that's another story.
