I presume they must justify this on the basis that the more flights booked, the greater the fee they will pay to the card company as they pay a flat percentage. They could charge a flat percentage to customers but this might not be transparent?
As above. But I see no reason for them to have to split the transaction into 2, thus passing on double charges to the customer!
Luckily I moved to Denmark whilst booking this ticket, so no fee paid. But the fact that hundreds of others have probably paid per person credit card charges really does irk me!
