Berlin isnīt too expensive, so for 200 - 300 $ per night (150-220 €) you should even get a 5 star. Exciting area is not so easy. Westin Grand has a good location near Brandenburger Gate, but I donīt know it. I normally stay at RC, Adlon or De Rome. The Waldorf Astoria is near Kudamm and brand new. Starts at 205 €. Concorde for example is also near by. Some Hotels really seems to ba a steal. Soho House could also be an option, also it`s not my cup of tea....
