The cold plate was very popular on their last flight I too that it was all gone by the time the flight attendant footy to me. Even though I ordered a hot plate, she offered to leave it on the shelf next to the seat if I was sleeping.

With regards to cash, I highly recommend ATMs if you have a card where no foreign transaction fees are charges. Not sure if there's one right after exiting customs though.
