IIRC DL is going to start using the 777 on the DTW>NRT leg, but I do know the NRT>MNL is on the 744. Like said before pick a seat on the upper deck if there are any available.

Other tips, no need to remove your shoes when clearing security in NRT. also, in the NRT SkyClub, don't freak out when the beer machine tips the glass backwards after you push the button to fill it. Most newbies do.. nice to shower there also after the long flight.

My wife is filipino and she actually did not care for the Japanese selection when she tried it, YMMV.
